Advice to practice math

Guys my friend had a very bad experience which i want to share with you. When we were in class 6 our teacher use to advice us for algebra 1 practice which she never wanted to do. I use to sit with her and discuss some simple algebra problems and she seem to be not interested.

I tried explaining her why she has to prepare for her exams, but she never wanted to understand what i am trying to explain her. When we had our exams, she was the one who retain in the same class because of her negligence. Guys you won't believe how much she cried. I wanted her to pass but she was put back in the same class. This was a good lesson to me and i wanted you guys also to know the problems one faces if she/he neglect her studies.

I remembered this incident because my son who has his exams and he says he does not like mathematics at all because his teacher is teaching him adding binary numbers but i made it a point to sit with him and explain him the importance of studying by sharing this experience with
him.

grade 3 math topics

I have normally seen that the assessment given to grade 3 math children are objective types. They are just given the options and they need to select the answer from the given options. I have always been in favor of this as i have seen my son struggling to work on his 4th grade math word problems. He use to say that he felt the previous class was good for him.

He concentrates on his books when i give him some options and use this mode of teaching. I have seen him working on mathematics diagrams also so well. He draws a perfect triangle, square and all that is related to his grade. Amazing... I have also opted for an online tutor and he is just superb.

He explains my son the geometry pictures in such a way that he never forgets it. He has improved in his mathematics a lot. I thank this tutor to give his best.

prime numbers 1-100

A very familiar topic prime numbers 1-100 is the concept for today. I want to know how many of you referred to my previous post which gave you the definition for prime numbers.

I will give you a brief definition on prime numbers and following will be the prime numbers 1-100

Definition of a prime number:- These are numbers that are not divided by any numbers except one and itself.

Prime numbers 1-100:- 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97.

math tutoring

I took up just math tutoring when i was at class 8, i had many problems solved for grade 8 during that time and was very happy and satisfied. Some of the problem that i solved in my 8th class are mentioned below.

Some problem of 8th grade math....

1) Simplify the inequality equation.

Answer: k=" style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://www.tutorvista.com/js/jsMath/wysiwyg_asciimath/mimetex/mimetex.cgi?%5Cdisplaystyle%5Cge"> 2 is the solution.

2) Simplify the linear expression.

-2(k + 3) = k + 6

Answer: k = -4 is the solution.

Mean deviation

The mean deviation of a statistical data is also called arithmetic mean of the numerical values of the deviations of items from some average value. Friends make math interesting and you will enjoy math.

The mean deviation is generally denoted by M.D. It is (Mean deviation) also known as average deviation.

Example math problem

When i was looking for online chemistry homework help as i had a very tough concept in chemistry. I suddenly looked at some important mathematics concept such as 5 grade math problems. I was just looking at these problems which i want to share.

Below i have some example problems such as:

1) A number increased by eight

Ans: - 1: x + 8

2) The difference between a number and ten

Ans: - 1: x – 10

3) Three fourths of some number

Ans: - 1:3x4
